Although never a favorite of mine, my wife brought a number of BC (and WIZARD OF ID) books to the Library when we got married and I did learn to admire Mr. Hart. In recent years, controversy has dogged him for his seeming intolerance of any religion other than his own but at his best...as in the 1977 COLOR ME SUNDAY collection from which this illustration was culled, he was very funny!
