After the World's Fair introduced television to the general public earlier in 1939, RCA presented this short film to demonstrate it to everyone who couldn't get to New York. Announcer Andre Baruch shows us behind the scenes in a TV lab and then TV in action broadcasting horse races and orchestras. When WWII came along, all of this was back burnered for the duration or the Golden Age of Television and the demise of network radio might well have come a decade earlier!
