This clip is all over the Net but I was unable to come up with anything explaining what circumstances led to this seemingly bizarre pairing. Still, anything Harlan says is worth listening to and the unusually quiet Williams seems to know that, too!

Fascinating, i love Harlan and could listen to him forever.
ReplyDeleteNot quite that bizarre a pairing. About 20-25 years ago, I attended a "roast" of Harlan and Robin Williams was one of the roasters. Apparently, they're good friends. Robin sat like a "normal person" throughout the event, but when it was his turn, BANG! there was the Robin Williams we all know and love. And, like Drake above, I could listen to Harlan anytime, anywhere. Fascinating character!
