Silver Age Sub-Mariner Splash Page Sundays # 11

My favorite thing on this page is the lettering. What does that tell you?

George Klein was a veteran comics artist best remembered if at all for his inks on Curt Swan's early Silver Age Superman and his rumored, maybe, possibly,
could be inks on Jack Kirby's FANTASTIC FOUR # 1. I like his work a lot...except on Gene Colan's art.

I think it's a horrible fit with Subby in particular looking like a two-dimensional animated cartoon character here...with a completely egg-shaped head with painted on black "hair." Luckily, this combination doesn't last. Looks like I wasn't the only one who thought it didn't work.
