Arthur Godfrey was a beloved but controversial performer and I'd be willing to bet this particular 1952 bio hyping him as "the most fabulous personality in the annals of mass communication" was not exactly an unbiased piece. Note, however that it is an "up-to-the-minute" biography! And only 50 cents! I'll bet Julius LaRosa bought two!
