The Big Boy restaurant franchise in this area is known as Frisch’s and I have never been a big fan of their food other than their delicious hot fudge cake. My wife and son are, however, so yesterday, I stopped and picked up a Super Big Boy for her and a kid’s grilled cheese for him.
Since this was the chain that offered the long-running ADVENTURES OF BIG BOY comic book and the burger I got my wife was already utilizing the “Super” prefix, I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised at the super heroic foods that decorated the kids’ bag. One can certainly question the logic of these healthy characters coming from a fast food concern but I was taken by them and so decided to share.
