I grew up on the catholic comic book TREASURE CHEST, which I remember mostly for the strips drawn by Joe Sinnott. While I think this Frazetta piece was probably nothing more than a commercial art job at the time, it is well known that throughout his career he often gave his wife special religious paintings as Christmas gifts.
The art is intersting for the jaunty profile of the guy grooming in front of the mirror and for the lovingly drawn seam up the girlfriend's stocking as she's walking into church. Woowoo.
