WWII Superman Ads
Some clever promotional pieces here but apologies for a few politically incorrect ones. Remember, at the time, that's the way things were done. No one looked askance in any way at those particular ads. Sadly.
Thank you for theses vintage ads. Back when Comic Books were fun to read, the ads were as entertaining as the stories. AND you got four stories for 12 cents, as opposed to now where you get 1/4 of a story for a few dollars.
As for the "politically incorrect" aspects of some ads (WOW, they really went for that then??) let us not judge the past too strongly. Just turn on "30 Rock." Tracy Morgan makes theses ads look like high class literature.
