Silver Age Sub-Mariner Splash Page Sundays # 3
Not a great one, I'm afraid. We're in the middle of a story so all we really get here is exposition from the omniscient narrator and "the pernicious Plant Man." Visually it's a bit of a mess as the villain is facing away from the reader watching a giant TV screen where one is hard-pressed to figure out what those things are in spite of the fact that he calls them tentacles. Let's face it. It may be destructive, but it's dull. And even our heroes, Subby and Triton the Inhuman are stuck in Woody Allenesque Orgasmatrons (note Triton's face) and barely visible. Still from the Thomas-Buscema-Giacoia team...but they've done better.
