A Goodguy Christmas-1979
Here's a sadly truncated scan of a 1979 holiday TBG cover featuring the late, lamented Alan (Jim) Hanley's GOODGUY, his version of the original Captain Marvel, in a nostalgic moment with Santa (as well as a fairly subtle Walt Kelly tribute).
Yeah, I still miss Mr. Hanley and his incredibly fun creations. I never met the guy, but he was the type of person that you just felt you knew. Died way, way too young. Say, why doesn't somebody collect his work and publish it? I don't know about anyone else, but I'd buy it!
