Here we have a licensed Disney product that offers false advertising (it's not REALLY a color TV), features off-model characters, misspelled names (Davy? Davey?) and the wonderful line "...Disneyland and his friends." Ya gotta love it!

ReplyDeleteThis ad made me think of a favorite toy I had as a child. It was a plastic movie projector that you popped in a cartridge and turned a handle to watch the movie through a tiny eyepiece. Basically, it was an animated version of a View Finder. One of my favorites was Disney cartoon. The beauty of the device was that you could wind the movies backward and forward as you watched. You could even control the speed by how fast you rotated the crank. I haven't seen another one in 30 years and don't remember what it was called. Any ideas? I would love to find one.
