My first Kirby comic was FF #5, inked by Joe Sinnott, the 1st appearance of Dr. Doom. I was hooked on Kirby from that point on.<br /><br />As a side note, if you talk to Greg Theakston, ask him about a trip to the York University comic book convention (in Toronto) in 72 or 73. I was driving and we did a donut on some ice in my van and the back door of the van flew open. Of course, that was where Greg was sitting. According to my friend next to him, his reaction was to shove his hands into his underarms to protect them. Good thinking on his part. No one was hurt; we closed the door and kept going. He was a friend of a friend and was tagging along to the con and I never met him again, but I think of that whenever I see his name mentioned. Sorry to blather on like that.
