I remember seeing the whole issue reprinted and it seemed they intended the book to keep the same sci-fi stories and one would always star Spider-man, thus making him the star of the book. There is no doubt in anyones minds that Spidey would have eventually taken over the book like Thor did Journey into Mystery.<br />Rick L. Despite the legend, it was intended to be the first in a new direction for the title. The cover blurb, interior announcements page and the final story panel confirm this.
