The James Blish books were the first paperback series I collected faithfully- and very mature fare they were too.<br /><br />I actually became a rabid fan through the animated series and Alan Dean Foster's novelizations. Later, books like the Entropy Effect and the adaptation of Wrath of Khan hooked me again as a young adult. <br /><br /> Unfortunately, most of Voyager and virtually all of Enterprise leaves me cold.
